I have to agree. I'd prefer a bronze color or rose gold color.

I really don't see how a light yellow would work in an area like Yonge and Bloor. Also, that blank wall of yellow facing the intersection looks really out of place in that rendering.

I think it's a play off the CIBC (2 Bloor West) building across the way.

That doesn't make sense either. We have already heard rumours and hints that 2 Bloor W will be replaced by a much larger 2 tower project.

Surely the big players in the development world are far more aware of these sorts of plans than we are...

I really don't see why they would repurpose that office. Seems like alot of work for a very expensive project. Very likely just rumours.

Honestly, this is not the mot beautiful toronto proposal. There is better like mirvish, 1-7 yonge ,bay park center, union center or the sad oxford place. But i feel the one will be built before all those beautiful skyscrapers. I m afraid that The one kill other cool project.

Please don t build that crap in our fantastic city of Toronto
Toronto deserve better than this .
Why not make something beautiful like shanghai tower, the shard, infinity at dubai or pentominium (dubai). These architects don t have imagination. But i dont mean all Toronto building are ugly.L tower, absolute, aura ,ey tower ,81 bay st or ritz carlton are awesome.
But for a landmark Toronto deserve better.
Please dear Councillors dont approve that crap.It will ruin the skyline .

It looks much better than Aura to me. It also won't be visible in the standard skyline shot.

Smile

I personally really like the design, but it's a slight step down from the original design. It's not just a glass box, devoid of actual thought into it's design and it has some actual detail into it. I think I'll like it more than Aura, because of the different materials used that were incorporated in the design, unlike the countlike glass boxes built in the city, like Burano.

Yeah, you have to laugh when you read L-Tower being quoted as something awesome.

Echo brickell, Miami

L avenue ,Montréal

I just want to see more design like that in Toronto. The one just doesn t make it compared to this design.

L avenue ,Montréal

Your memory doesn't go back very far... that WAS a Toronto proposal, which was cancelled and then the design moved to Montreal where it is now U/C.

Echo and L'Avenue are nice. You can keep the Asian designs.
