Looking forward to the day I can walk the 1900 block of Sansom and see a fully-intact streetscape, with a special emphasis on the two buildings that were saved - they are my favorite part of the Sansom Street side of this project.

Hahaha, do you think you live in a European city with leadership that cares about the pedestrian experience? In Philly, I am happy with the scraps, such as the loss of a surface lot. I've been conditioned not to expect great things.
I don't think it can ever be totally car free because of loading docks / dumpsters but there's no reason that it can't have movable bollards like Bourbon Street or 6th Street and be car free Fridays-Sundays. The natural starting point would be Sansom between 15th and 18th which has the highest concentration of businesses.
From Saturday, the first time I've been back in Philly in a while. Anyways this building looks great in my opinion. These are from El Techo, a great place to grab brunch, I imagine its a great place to eat when the weather is nice too!
^Great angle/photos. I wasn't paying attention at first and thought I was looking at a different city - Chicago or London vibes. I need to get back to El Techo. The Laurel looks sleek and thin from that side view.
