^ I've noticed there was some kind of KFC bashing in the US.
Funny.

That must be because it's from Kentucky and you guys are still traumatized by the Old South and their racism.

Frankly, their French branch is ok. Their meat is produced at home. It is local production. Their chicken breast tastes like actual chicken breast, that's different from McDonald's.

I hold no grudge of any kind against KFC. Their chicken is just ok here. That's all I know.

I just wasn't born 50 years ago when they still were racist out there, so I can't tell about that.

It has less to do with the history of racism in the American south and more to do with KFC being in the 'fast food' category of restaurants. Fast food is typically lower quality than sit down restaurants that don't have a drive through window. And you are correct: a lot of fast food companies - McDonald's included - are much higher quality outside of the US due to better local distribution and localization of the menus. You can get a beer in many McDonald's in Europe, where that would not be possible in the US!

Superb! I love it!!

KL is better than most American cities, and yet, most Americans have never even heard of it.

I’d love to go back to KL. I spent about 36 hours there on a side trip from Singapore in 2006. I wish I had gotten much more time to spend exploring. A chaotic but seemingly very livable city.
