The crane even says "pinnacle" on the side lol.

Honestly I'm kind of glad this won't have a spire, the lack of vanity height is admirable. Just a solid near half a kilometer building. NYC also has a ton of spires.

Has nothing to do with the height. I sometimes think too many here are obsessed with the height. This skyscraper needs a spire because it's a 1,550 ft average looking skyscraper. The New York skyline, more than any, deserves to be crowned with a spire. But more than that, this tower needs it, and was going to get it at one point. That it was scrapped, with little change to design, shows. But I don't care if they put a 300 ft antenna on top. It needs something. They only removed a portion of Vandy's spire, and I'm having withdrawal symptoms.
