pianowizard is correct that the core is already topped out. The official topping out ceremony I believe is later this week and overall concrete work is close to wrapping up.

Correct. Though I'm honestly not sure how the official topping out exactly relates to the actual completion of the concrete structure but we are almost there. In Nick's photos they are working on the floor slab of 77. And I assume those photos to be from about a week ago. There is one more floor structure and the roof slab above 77, then the crown parapet glass and steel adds another 11'. In all there is 39 feet of height left to go in the most recent photos on this thread.

FWIW I took these on Friday, June 4th. Took me a while to get to these 'personal' edits after working on some other client projects.

Not to mention the Aurelien, 805 N LaSalle, the renovated Bush temple + its tower, or the Mormon church. None of which were there when I moved into my first Chicago apartment in this neighborhood almost exactly 10 years ago. It's not quite what happened to the West Loop, but still a remarkable amount of development.

Thanks for the info! A couple weeks ago we figured that the final height would be at least ~30 ft above the top of the core, but now we know exactly how much: 39 ft.

In CTBUH's terminology, Chicago One is now structurally topped out, but not yet architecturally topped out.

The construction hoist on the smaller tower is being removed now. They are leasing units for October 1, 2021.

I so wish this was at least 1100 ft, but its a nice reprieve from the rest of the beige garbage in that hood.

My ! My! My! simply marvelous. Without the skyscrapers you would think you were on a Mediterranean seashore.

Great photo Chris. Getting closer to TO now.

Also, wrong thread, I know, but you can see WPS starting to peek out too. It will nearly fill that entire gap.
