Is that pool deck really just 1 story above LSD?

That'll be enjoyable in the summer... listening to loud motorcycles and inhaling fumes all day, yikes.

Sure, because the roof deck at Lake Point Tower is such a miserable failure...

People don't care about the noise so much and the fumes are not a huge issue with the breeze off the lake.

It also seems they have installed a glass sound-deadening wall which should muffle the noise somewhat.

Yea it'd be better at least 10 or so stories up, perhaps there will be a large glass screen? It would help but not be perfect.

From the renderings is looks like the final tallest tower (Parcel I) would take after the blue facade and not copper, kind of a relief. The copper is okay but I don't think it would look as good on a 1K foot building.

Could look pretty cool when the east side gets hit with a lot of sun early in the day.

The lake front path is pretty busy - and there is also a lot of people on LSD at that time of the morning.

Maybe I've lost my sense of time from being in quarantine, but I feel like these towers and One Chicago are finishing much faster than other skyscrapers in the city

^ Cirrus & Cascade broke ground in late Aug 2019, so they have indeed been rising fast. It's great that the pandemic did not slow them down.

^ There is so much activity on the site for Parcel I. Perhaps construction is imminent? Cirrus & Cascade will top out soon.

So that isn't staging?

I am skeptical that Parcel I would suddenly be starting
