HOLLYWOOD, FL | Young Circle Redevelopment | 416x2 FT | 35x2 FLOORS + 25 FLOORS

BTI Partners’ Twin 35-Story Towers Receive FAA Approval To Rise 416-Feet In Hollywood, Florida
https://floridayimby.com/2021/07/bti...d-florida.html

Quote:
Fort Lauderdale-based developer BTI Partners can now move forward with Young Circle, two twin 35-story mixed-use towers proposed for 1701 East Young Circle in Hollywood, Florida. The Federal Aviation Administration has cleared the way for the project to rise 416-feet above sea level as of July 6, 2021 and deems the structures structure would have no substantial adverse effect on the safe and efficient utilization of the navigable airspace by aircraft or on the operation of air navigation facilities. The towers will feature designs from Zyscovich Architects, yielding a combined 1,906,796 square feet including 802 residential units, 112,297 square feet of retail space, and 72,054 square feet of office space.

Hollywood’s Young Circle will be located within the Central Business District that’s considered as part of the greater Royal Poinciana residential and commercial area. Bounded by Tyler Street to the north, North 17th Avenue to the east, and Harrison Street to the south, the interior lot sits right across the street from Young Circle Park, and just a 5 minute drive away from Hollywood Beach

Would be nice to see some further density along Hollywood Boulevard as well. A good start.

This is getting a 25 floor neighbor. Site of the Hollywood Bread Building.

So on Young Circle, we will have two 35 floor towers with a little over 850 units and a 25 floor, 362 unit high rise.

@Altoic, might as well make this also combine the 25 floor tower over at 1740 S Young Circle versus a completely new thread.

Reflected in the title: HOLLYWOOD, FL | Young Circle | 416x2 FT | 35x2 FLOORS + 25 FLOORS

Once we get height figures for 1740 S Young Circle, will update title.

^ Thank you

There's a bit of site prep going on with the 25-story tower. Demo completed and the tower is starting up.

South Florida business journal has said this tower has broken ground.

This tower will be invited by Nine Hollywood and 1818 Park, both wrapping up construction and are both higher than 12 stories.

One Bluewater Drones post they show the site a little bit in the corner:
