Well they do have to wake up 30 minutes earlier than everyone else.

Moncton has the most per capita. Something like 33 in the CMA with a population of 130,000.

The only other chain that even tried to make a dent in New Brunswick was Dunkin Donuts, and they pulled out a few years ago. I think there's one Robin's in Saint John and that's it for donut competition.

^That's frightening. Seriously. That's 1 for every 3,939 people. Okay we'll call it 4,000 people. That hardly seems like a good business plan. I thought Regina was plague-like with a 13th coming for 190,000. Does no one in the Maritimes do anything but sit in Timmies locations? I guess I'm going to find out.

What about independent coffee houses? Thunder Bay has tons of them. It seems like a new one opens every month or so.

Try spending time in a Tim's drive-thru around here. There are never less than 5 cars in line, even at night. Here in Fredericton, the city banned traffic from turning left into one of them downtown.

We need something to do between our EI cheques...

in a 10km-radius centred on downtown London, there are 68 Tim Hortons.
in a 50mile-radius centred on downtown London, there are 100 Tim Hortons.

^That's because the Tim Hortons store locator finder tool limits results to the top-100. Talk about underestimating data.

Tim Hortons: If you can't find a Timmies within 50 miles of where you are then maybe you're not in Canada anymore.

Using the locater, Thunder Bay has 16 Tim Horton'ses. Google needs to be updated.

There are none within 50 miles of Atikokan.

^I stand corrected. I'm sure Tim Hortons' corporate is working on rectifying that situation.

I don't know, the Robin's in Atikokan (Which is a drive through, of course) has really loyal customers. The Atikokanese probably won't take too kindly to a company from Southern Ontario! :O

(Robin's Donuts is now owned by Coffee Time, based in Scarborough.. Which, honestly, explains the drop in quality over the past year or two. Coffee Time sucks, or so I hear.)

Coffee Time doesn't suck -- it nicely informs you when you are entering an economically depressed area.

You think that's bad? Try Grande Prairie or Fort McMurray! I know in GP, I've seen up to over 8 vehicles lining up at one of the Timmy ho's there. The police has had to crack down on this, believe me.

Are we sure that Hillsdale and 23rd is a Tim Hortons? That's been the rumour....but hasn't been confirmed as far as I know.
