I'm so confused by some of you. That's absolutely a handsome building.

This is Dock St. all over again.

This build is spectacular, it has a great design, great height, great presence, great location. I'm wondering what the interiors will look like and if there will be night lighting because its presence in the skyline could be substantial based on the height and location.

Any idea of when construction will start?

They claim they are aiming for a Fall 2026 opening, meaning they'd want substantial completion by July 2026. A building this size would take about 2 years to build. I would guess they are not starting imminently, they have a little bit of time before they need to start. New student housing construction of this scale is usually timed to deliver right before when students are ready to move-in. Finishing too late or too early can add a lot of expense to student housing projects where leasing and move-ins happen all at once annually. If you miss it you're screwed because students are forced to make a choice by a date certain so too early is better than too late. So if I had to venture a guess, I would say they are starting in Spring 2024.

Drove past this morning, couldn't get pictures, but this one is moving forward. Lot's of workers on site, lot closed off, fences going up, sidewalk enclosures being errected on ajoining properties....

It’s always fascinating to me what projects get started at rocket speed and what projects just kind of sit there for years.

Wow they are not messing around. One of the quickest transitions from proposal to action that I can recall in recent memory.

Found the website for this, and it says opening Fall 2025. So it makes sense this will be full steam ahead soon/now.

Drive past but the barriers were too high to get a good pic. looked like they’re still drilling.

If there's caissons on site then this one is under construction.

I bike past it almost daily (they even relied the bike lane to make room for the construction) - it's usually pretty busy. I'll try to get a picture on my way into the office tomorrow.

Great! Looks like shoring has started. Won’t be long now until we see rebar/caissons. Love it!
