One Campus Martius to the right is 232’ at 15 floors. The core looks to be more than one and a half of that, so I’d say at least 350’. Just a guess, but about half of the final height.

I’ll second that, it’s an ideal spot to appreciate the tower as it gains in height & its design elements become more discernible at scale. I’m starting to appreciate the subtleties a lot more in particular how the ambient lighting plays with the mood of the glass & terracotta on the podium.

and the facade detailing on the block is tip-top!

I watched a bit of the Detroit Grand Prix over the weekend, and it was cool to see this tower in their footage. Such a solid addition to Detroit!

I took these photos just a few minutes ago. Viewed from the street, the Block is already Detroit's prettiest building.

Thank you for sharing! It's quite a bit taller at this point, and it's looking so good. Thanks for the view from the rear, too. For some reason, that first terrace eluded me up until now.

Visited the Detroit area over the weekend, but didn’t get a chance to go see this beautiful tower. It’s been 4 years since I last saw it, and it was under construction then. I may get to see it again before the year is out.

I wish I could share some about the economics of Hudson's. It is a beautiful building but the pro forma is hideous. I don't know if yall would appreciate DG for sticking with it or get mad at how much more could have been built with the money.

Just was able to swing by the construction site today as I had a photo assignment downtown. Unfortunately no ready place to park or slow down so forgive the quick phone snaps. Beautiful cladding for sure!

Does anyone know if the upper floor residential units are available for sale? Who do we contact to purchase?
