Kaufman is the architectural version of No Child Left Behind. Even though the tower got a 60% on the exam, and 70 is needed... eh, good enough.

This one actually turned out quite decently. Slightly better cladding saved it. They set back from the street to both deal with the stepback rules (a vertical stack is the most efficient for a hotel) and to give wider views for the hotel rooms. I just wish they would have taller podiums.
