I really like the job the club did with the branding and the logo.

Simple is good and less is more. It has a really professional, timeless kind of look to it. Very much in keeping with the spirit of the EE logo. If I was an Edmonton fan I'd be rushing out today to dump a pile of money on their merch.

Looks like they will still be using the EE logo in the merch

The branding looks great. Elks was my no. 1 choice when I voted. Elks are native to the general area, the team can keep the EE logo, and it’s not a copycat name.

The more I look at it the more I like it... whoever came up with that perfectly straddled the line between maintaining the team's traditions while improving it and building on that.

The EE logo was obviously steeped in tradition but objectively it was kind of a dull design. The name controversy gave them a reason to change it, which is something that would have otherwise never happened.

Not that it really matters, but Edmonton Elk sounds much better than Edmonton Elks.

As long time fan of the team I was worried.

I love it. The logo is awesome and the ideas they can use for gameday presentation are there for sure.

Now I just want to see some CFL football played already.

I moved to within a couple of blocks of Commonwealth in November 2019 and was eagerly awaiting football season. However, the stadium has been silent for over a year and a half now. I cannot wait to see our team and their new name back after so long!

I like the new logo simple but modern but retains their tradition. Have they released the new uniform designs?

Speaking of tradition, the Edmonton Elks played in the 1922 Grey Cup.

The CFL board of governors has voted to start playing a shortened 14-game 2021 season on August 5.

Training camps will begin July 10, with the Grey Cup in Hamilton on December 10.

I am pleasantly surprised, I wasn't expecting much good news for a 2021 CFL season...

I don't like the name but don't mind the logo.
Lots of elk around here that's for sure.
