PHILADELPHIA | 619 North Broad Street | 275 FT | 18 FLOORS

First new thread in awhile...

Title: 619 North Broad Street
Project: ???
Architect: Varenhorst
Developer: Unknown
Location: 619 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA
District: North Philadelphia
Neighborhood: Spring Arts
Floors: 18
Height: 275 FT

https://www.varenhorst.com/619-n-broad-street

Just some renderings for now, but a rendering is all we need for a thread.

With the rest of North Broad filled with proposals right now, I think that this project isn't so far-fetched.

Just noticed the two renderings are different. The first one appears to be shorter by a 3-4 floors.

My synagogue, Congregation Rodeph Shalom, is across Mt. Vernon Street from this. In the renderings it's the building with the arches.

Renderings Revealed For 17-Story Building At 619 North Broad Street In Poplar, North Philadelphia

Quote:
Renderings have been revealed for 619 North Broad Street, a proposed 17-story building in Poplar, North Philadelphia. The high-rise, designed by Varenhorst Architects and revealed on its website, is planned to stand 275 feet tall and consists of a rectangular five-story podium with an L-shaped section rising above, with a spacious outdoor terrace at the setback. No permits have been filed yet.

A parking lot and a vacant single-story commercial structure currently occupy the site. The property was previously used as an auto dealership, and more recently, a daycare center.

CDR Submission

Unfortunately, this project is now a 6 story lowrise. Fortunately, it's a better looking project than the original design imo. I'll take it.
