Perhaps Brush Square Park should be renamed Clutter Drawer Square Park.

So, just 7' short of 5th & West, and on the same street. These two will be twins.

New and more detailed elevations were added to the site plan. The previous elevations dated July are still included in the site plan, but these new ones are dated 01/25/22. So we'll go with those for the height. It's still 37-stories, but it gained 21' and is now 473'.

This will bring some good height to the otherwise fairly low rise NE corner of the convention center. Will complement the Hilton there nicely being about 100ft taller.

Edit: their ≠ there, my brain isn't awake enough yet

I was thinking about how this'll look from 35 this morning. Given that it's quite a bit taller than the Hilton it's going to have a pretty significant presence.

Long term, that area is about to pop. The Avenue Lofts of course are also in play, and the Railyard is just a block or two away.

EDIT: but of course "pop" is relative. A wall of CVCs pretty much halts things at the Carmelo's lot.

the fact this only has 3 levels of above ground parking is enough reason to celebrate this one

This looks like a complete redesign vs the previous render, no? That one had sharp angles a la 5th and West, this looks to have curved glass? If so this could be pretty cool.

Yeah I think we are going to pleasantly surprised when we see the actual render of this one.

License Agreement filed for some streetscape components related to 5RR. Not sure what all this means in practice but it's something.

Agreed. Though the footprint of it from these drawings makes me think (quite confidently) that it will have absolutely no street-level interaction outside of a lobby entrance.

Awesome find. That type of pre construction video is rare.

The video rendering is an improvement over the released rendering:

This one reminds me a bit of Lake Point Tower in Chicago.
