Man, I saw it today from South Lamar, and it was odd seeing how small 360 Condos appeared standing in front of it. I love the view, though, because while 360 is pretty light, Sixth & Guadalupe appears dark there.
I took my wife to dinner last night for her birthday downtown. It's the first time I drove south on I-35 in a while - I'm typically coming from other directions. Downtown in general looks impressive from that view, but this tower in particular is very prominent. It'll be crazy to see this and 98RR done - and the others in the 500+ ft range as well.
That last picture tho... It's like it's channeling the old Bank 1 gold. Love it! Not sure if they knew it would reflect gold at sunset or if that is just a pleasant suprise but what with that and the black stripe at the top of the office portion, it really does kinda bring back a little tiny bit of our history.

Any building with blue glass can reflect gold at sunset. It's just a matter of which angle you're looking at it from.
I have seen some of the other towers look like they have gold especially the Rainey Street ones, but nothing as striking as how 6X looks. Especially with the way the fins aren't reflecting gold. It makes for a very interesting look.
