This is a small look at why different styles of architecture are fun. The balconies mixed in with the modern & sleek glass buildings at kinda cool.

I wonder if the JW is planning on moving their signage to the left. The height density is really obvious from 35. I like how this building is contributing to this.

Ha, I was wondering the same thing. No one can see their signage anymore. If they're smart, they'll move it.

It's a good bit above 400 feet now, I'd say 425 feet or so. I saw it this week from south Austin poking above the JW Marriott.

I agree. The only upside I can think of about these completely separated parking garages is that unlike a podium, they could be torn down when unneeded in the years to come. But that's probably overly optimistic...

I doubt they can be torn down since they are connected to the buildings they serve. Best we could hlpe forf is they bury/eliminate the upper decks and maybe something could be built in front of the garages to hide them.

The brown building has all parking on the first couple of floors so it's different than the other two which are more Texas Donut styles (on three sides lol).

Sunday 8/7/22 - One of the few active construction sites this Sunday, should be topping out relatively soon.

I like the interaction between the blue glass and rust covered metal screen on the parking podium.

Hopefully they don’t repaint the Hyatt Place as it’s accent color matches perfectly with this one.
