I guess this wasn’t intended to be public as the video has been removed.

Fortunately Towers saved some screenshots:

I don't recall hearing about how the historic depot which is part of this project will be developed. But it's on the Monday 5/9 HLC Architectural Review Committee Meeting Agenda. So maybe we'll get some info next week.

Towers' got you. The historic depot will be fully renovated to its old glory, and then a hopefully house a restaurant and coffee shop.

I saw those back up files a few days ago. But I thought they were too boring to post or tweet.

Brand new elevations show a much nicer crown. It lost 13' and is now 460' but is still 37-stories.

Almost looks like an old school revolving restaurant on top.

I love revolving rooftop bar and restaurants. Don't tease me with this.

Here’s Our First Look at the Apartment Tower Headed for Fifth and Red River

https://austin.towers.net/heres-our-...and-red-river/

The 37-floor downtown Austin apartment tower planned for the corner of East Fifth and Red River Streets by local real estate developer Stonelake Capital Partners heads to the City of Austin’s Design Commission for a review of its density bonus application on Monday next week — but since we try our best to stay on the ball around here for the sake of our beloved readers, we’ve got an early look at the tower for you, which at the moment is going by the working name 5th + Red River.

Still more renders.

I wish all those Hanover cookie cutter towers had some curves like this one does. A little goes a long way.

This is sexy. Love the curves, the wood paneling, and the street interaction.

And perhaps best of all, it will obscure the Hilton!

I like the sexy curved cantilever stair coming off the podium on the northeast corner! Very retro.
