A new tower crane is going up in Rainey right now. The view (at this moment anyway) from the 98RR CCTV cam shows it going un behind 70 Rainey and next to the MACC. That may be a trick of the zoom, but I don't know what it could be for except maybe a second Travis crane.

It’s the second crane for The Travis. You can see the base for it days prior in the second photo here:

The Rainey Street District has become the construction crane district and we have yet to see the Modern's crane which I assume will be going up pretty soon, not to mention the other towers that are just starting ground work.

Hi- Kind of an odd request, but I'm trying to submit this project to CTBUH so it can be marked as under construction. However, I've had trouble finding FAA archives, height diagrams, or anything of that matter which can support the floor count and height of the tower. All of the data I found was conflicting, anything helps, thanks.

So far I've submitted 321 West, Republic, 415 Colorado, and Hanover Brazos street, but this tower was the most troubling.

The approved elevations should be available with the site plan for 80 Red River. The permit search portal has been down this morning when I've checked. They may be posted way back in this thread too. This building is being marketed as a 50-story tower. On the last elevations I saw, levels B1 & B2 were above ground on one side of the building which is where the 52 floor count in the title comes from.

Would anybody be able to grab some street level pics of The Travis this weekend? I havent been able to get down to Rainey district in a while to see for myself. Would love to see what this looks like from the ground. Based on the recent drone video below, looks like they are making decent progress on this one.

^^ I remember when Skyhouse was a moderately big deal to the area. Crazy to see what's coming!

That pic is so crazy when you zoom in on each of those construction zones. Such a small neighborhood going tall seemingly all at once.

You know I was thinking the same thing, and I remember how blazing fast they went from site prep to top out. When the Winsor was added to the area, I was impressed with the I35 drive by. At the time there was no way to see all this coming.
