Norwich England

The city of Norwich is in the county of Norfolk east England
Due to the coronavirus for the second year in a row we were forced to holiday in Britain

The cathedral was begun in 1096

Norwich Castle started in 1067 unfortunately it was under a 13 million pound upgrade so I couldn't visit

Cromer a seaside town on the north coast

Nice British weather

Visual arts center Norwich

Seaside town Southwold Suffolk

Back to Norwich

spotted a flyer . would you take music lessons from this
guy

Winbirri vineyard didn't know England produce wine

Lavenham Suffolk . Harry Potter fans might spot his parents house

Last up the town of Bury St Edmunds Suffolk

Thanks for looking

Delightful, my first thought was "why can't we build cities like this anymore?", and I'm doubtful that we could, even if permitted, which we aren't. Are some of those buildings as structurally precarious as they appear, or is it a clever illusion?

Thanks, a lot of the buildings are hundreds of years old and not a straight angle to be see .
Not sure how structurally sound they are but I am sure they will still be standing long after the shit we are building today are gone.

Nice to see something other than London, thanks for sharing. My British friend who lives in London said I should visit northern England. In in his opinion there are much more interesting things to see, and he said the people are much friendlier.

Nice pictures! Isn't Norwich supposed to be the most Medievally-intact city in all of Britain, and doesn't "Norwich" rhyme with "porridge"?

Yes to both those questions , Excellent knowledge!
Norwich get an undeserved bad reputation in the UK it's seen as a hillbilly place mainly due to the local accent which is a bit weird.

Lets draw a line under it feel free to comment on the poor quality of photography

How does everyone feel about the pedestrianization of Norwich City Centre

I visited Norwich for a week or so in 1989 as a cousin of mine was at college there. Good times, lots of good sights, good pubs etc.

the East of England (Suffolk, Norfolk) gets a bad rep as a bone flat place populated by inbred people. In reality it's a flat landscape pierced by hundreds of villages, each with their church towers or medieval keeps, stunning coastline and fens, and medieval cities.

Great shots, didn't know that Norwich was so beautiful! Britain is no bad country to be "forced to" have a holiday in (except for perhaps the weather). There are so much more to see then for example here in Sweden!

Great shots of a beautiful city. Believe it or not my brother, his wife and child lived in Norwich for about 4 years. They loved it.
