I'm excited to see CPT fully lit! With one side lit, it's hopefully just a matter of weeks before the rest of it is lit up!

I noticed that too. Are there glass fins protruding perpendicular to the facade? I can't tell what it is.

There are also some strange rows of what look like metal cylinder on the south facade that I asked about a long time ago.

i believe those are a facade motif that would have continued up the spire should it have not been axed.

i don't know why some people have such an issue with this. i mean yeah it would be nice to have a better resolution instead of a flat top, but the vertical lighting looks plenty slick and classy. it looks great up there in the daytime too.

I do like the lighting, whether or not the flat top remains(and I wish it were more an epic crown or spire). The lighting will help a lot though... give it some personality.

Oh that's easy. Because it's an awkward, ill-massed, unremarkable, 1,550 ft skyscraper that just happens to be the tallest tower in a city that's known for it's great skyscrapers. (If you don't count the awful spire of the Freedom Tower). It can't hide or blend in. It's there to be seen, and boy is it. Shame on Barnett for not insisting better.

Great pics as always! Has anyone been out there recently at night to see whether the rest of the crown has been lit up?

Nice shot. Anything new on the terrace glass cladding? I really hate to see that thin exposed gap.

Honestly, it's quite handsome at some angles, and the nighttime lighting is nice. I just wish it was located somewhere less prominent. The location demanded something spectacular and this falls a bit short of that high bar.

I feel like i keep saying this but the parts with the window film removed look 5 times better. This has been the most drawn out process getting the film off lol.
