For sure. Folks will be screaming "I told you so! Should never have been built" after the first game.

The Captain Morgan bar is open for 90 minutes after the game.

I'm parking my butt there and getting an uber well after the game is over.

Yep or going to one of the breweries. We're biking to games mind you, but will need to stay properly hydrated.

UT and the CoA still don’t have worked out after several generations.

20K seems an easier number to deal with than 150K that show up to be either in or around DKR for big games.

I mean, we might be at 25-50% for the first game due to Rona. I guess we'll know more soon.

By June 19, I think it not out of the realm of possibility to say the stadium will be 50%-100% full.

Austin is suppose to drop down to stage 2 restrictions by next weeks. So happy thoughts that things will be back to normal with in the next month or two. We went from who has gotten their vaccinations to now saying who has yet to be vaccinated. I am still worried though. After seeing pictures from the Round Rock express home opener being packed an not a single person wearing a mask.

As a season ticket holder, we're supposed to be told of their initial plan with regard to the first home game within the coming week or two. I'll let y'all know what they say if it wasn't already reported.

I'm assuming the plan is for precourt to call APH every day and beg. I bet it's half capacity.

I’m a season ticket holder as well. I was told that Since MLS technically owns all teams it is MLS that decides how many fans uniformly across the league

That can't be right. There are wildly different attendance policies right now. MLS may be part of making that call but local officials definitely have a say.

Q2 stadium will host a doubleheader for the Gold Cup quarter final matches on July 25. There is a chance that we could get either a USMNT game or Mexico game. Either would be a huge opportunity to showcase the stadium.

Between this and the US Women's team christening the stadium with the first ever game, this place is going to be huge

I am hoping the USWNT is a trial run at an NWSL team coming to town. That would be a *lot* of fun to have in the stadium as a permanent fixture.

Going to be hot for the early game!

Here's a list of the participating teams:

The ownership group has already expressed interest in bringing or creating an Austin NWSL team. I too champion that idea. As do my daughters.
