These haven’t been posted before. Maybe similar views of the previous designs have been posted, but these are the current design.

And the gold facade is going to look absolutely stunning - especially up the residential tower. I wish some of Chicago's new office buildings had more of this. I can't wait to visit Detroit when this is done.

I'm interested to see how the gold and glass exterior will play in contrast to the RenCen's black glass look.
Future skyline sunset pictures are going to be impressive!

This is going to be beautiful!

The change in downtown/midtown Detroit over the past 4 years has been nothing short of mind-blowing. I first visited the Detroit area in 2015 for work, and downtown outside of Greektown was a ghost town, it was bad.

I was just back up there last week to visit some friends and we went out on Saturday night and I was blown away. -- The whole area was packed and teeming with activity. From Little Ceasars arena, to the Q Line, to newly fixed up Campus Martius, to all the stores, restaurants and bars that have opened up throughout the area. I also noticed that they've reclaimed several formerly defunct alleyways throughout the area and put up coffee shops, bars and holiday lights throughout...awesome use of space!

Downtown Detroit is a happening place these days! I can only imagine how much better it's going to be with the completion of the Hudson tower and the Monroe block development.

Go Detroit!!

The first steel has been laid on the East side of the Tower elevator core. It is visible right at the start of the YouTube hudsonsite construction Page. The tower crane also appears to be removing lots of construction equipment from the inside of the tower footprint to outside of it.

Hot damn!!!!!!

But I remain extremely confused.

I thought that there was no possible way that the tower could ever be under construction at this time.

Crawford, why did you lead me so astray?

WHY????????????????????????????????
