Only one corner is over 300 metres... from established grade it's 299 metres.

Continually surprised at the scope of Toronto's development and skyline in general. Makes it look more like a city of 15-20 million rather than less than half that.

You and other Americans are comparing the size of Toronto to inflated figures for US metros.
That's why you guys think Toronto is smaller because it's not a like for like comparison.

^ Sam Mizrahi's ("The One") new owners with west views may not be thrilled about this:


15 - 19 Bloor St West l 302m+ l 94s l Reserve Properties, Westedale l IBI l pre-construction

Retail on Bloor and 1262 residential units above. Height is 301.8 metres plus mechanical penthouse. So one day west views from The One may well be… another supertall 15 metres away lol.

This project brings the Toronto supertall family total to 8 (I didn’t include the ‘half-Pencil Tower’ at 1200 Bay which is 87s and 326.5 metres, as it has gone silent):

The One - under construction @ 85s and 309 metres, asking for 94 storeys and 338 metres
SkyTower (One Yonge Phase 2) - under construction @ 95s and 312.5 metres, asking for 105 storeys and 344.6 metres
212 King West - pre-construction @ 80s and 312 metres
One Yonge Phase 3 - pre-construction at 92s and 308 metres
FORMA - phase 2 approved at 308 metres (Phase 1 in demoliton/site prep at 263 metres)
Union Park 1 - approved @ 60s and 303 metres
15-19 Bloor West - pre-construction at 94s and 302 metres
191 Bay (Commerce Court 3) - pre-construction @ 64s and 302 metres (374 metres including spire)

3 more at around 299 metres:

*Concord Sky - under construction (*one elevation is 300 metres so that supertall debate is on-going ;-)
Sugar Wharf 2 - site prep/demolition underway
Union Centre - pre-construction (rumoured to actually be above 300 metres)

^ P.S. Given there are 5 new projects @ 299 metres to 300 metres+ underway and 5 more 300 metre+ projects approved and in the pipeline… plus a few more at or near 290 metres, maybe my signature below is a legit prediction ?

In terms of numbers, yes, but we need one or two in the range of 400 metres.

Also, it should be noted that those you listed as "pre-construction" are more like "construction unknown" or "proposed". I have complained to UT admins about their optimistic "pre-construction" designation, to no avail.

Plus complaining here lol I'm more interested in so-called "under construction" status which leaves out site prep/demolition, shoring -excavation ... and poured concrete but no crane yet. All of which speak to an active project but are relegated to proposed or pre-construction in forums.

Flemingdon Golf Course Redevelopment l 56s l 8m l Tercot, Cityzen, Fernbrook l Hariri Pontarini l pre-construction

Four towers 42 storeys to 56 storeys with 2,170 residential units, a cultural space and 40 acres of parkland (the 2,400 bicycle spaces make sense here ;-). The public space may be designed by Toronto’s favourite (adopted) landscape firm Claude Cormier.

The development may also join the East Don Trail project with a riverside trail through the site. I used to play a lot of golf here ... very scenic, well-groomed and affordable (bye bye).

Not sure how much actual entertainment there will be left here, but it’s entertaining to watch for ’scraper geeks ;-).

The tallest of 3 under construction towers on or near the corner of Church and Dundas. Centricity on the north-east corner (yet to start) will be a few metres taller @ 171m. The intersection will unrecognizable in a few years.

From this angle the floor-plates look so small compared to the neighbours… if Sam gets his height increase to 94 storeys. this “One” will be close to a pencil tower ;-).
