Here are some I took in San Diego

An easy tactic for getting people photos is to catch them posing for other photographers (long lenses help here)

Or, get the other photographer in the picture, too.

Summer is the time to get married.

I like to take scenic photos that show people interacting with the environment. That's something I've learned over the years of looking at photos on this site. When I was younger, I'd always try to get shots of buildings or other scenery without people in them whenever possible.

People shots are among my most favorite types of pictures to take. I'm still not that good at the level candidness that I want, but I keep working on it.

Here's a few of the ones I've taken:

I enjoy people shots as well. I hope to get a lot better at them.

Here are some of mine.

Some random shots:

A cousin's wedding:

My nephews and neice:

And, of course, my recent Seattle trip:

I almost didn't write that comment, the hair looked too gray, but I thought it was you. Sorry for the mistake. But I bet you get down and funky in your own right.

@ Jive -- St. Louis = Cross section of Americana

Alright, here's some people shots I've taken. Most of these are actually shots of bands... but that counts too, right?

First of all though, Celebrations of Italy winning the Cup

Sleeping Pilot (local hardcore band):

Bright Eyes :

The Acorn (other local band)

Don Cabillero with The Grey

^Random guy who asked me to take his picture.

Believe me, it happens all the time, in school the teachers were always getting us confused. While we're not twins there are four days in August where we are the same age, he was born Aug. 27, I was born Aug. 23 the next year. Damn, Catholic parents sure are a busy bunch.

As for getting me funky, you bet I do, in fact theres yet another big street party in downtown R.I. tonight but....nah, too damn hot.

I'd post some of my most recent people photos, but I don't think we're supposed to post nudity on this site...
