By the way, it may be helpful to have more details of the contemporary thing on here. It's called Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Actually, this must be rather post-modern as well, showing some details or ornaments that modernism would deem useless, but you got look closer to see.



This is hands down one of the best (or simply the best) recently built churches in the entire country. I think it's all the more valuable that it won't try hard to mimic anything from the past, which by principle is great.
Now I can't tell how much the project costed. Might've been a bit expensive, though.

Yes, these churches are beautiful and I can tell that some of that churches are the real masterpieces. But I know that government has destroyed a lot of houses, kindergartens and schools to build church in the center of the city

Nice architecture! Modern yet retaining its byzantine style, with its façade like a mille-feuille cake.
