Wow. I always hear about how Philadelphia has a larger cbd, but this photo hints to the contrary.

He's saying that the picture of Boston he quoted makes the CBD seem larger than he realized. I think it's probably that the aerial includes both the CBD and Back Bay, while I generally hear Back Bay considered as a separate district.

I think the person you are responding to was saying that Boston's CBD looks larger then Philadelphia's CBD to them. I don't think they thought that was a picture of Philadelphia.

Are you sure that's Auckland NZ? It sure doesn't look like Auckland to me unless this shot was taken from the Sky Tower and somehow managed to avoid capturing both the CBD and the harbor
