THE WOODLANDS – (Realty News Report) – Howard Hughes Holdings is developing a multifamily residential project along the waterfront of The Woodlands Waterway.

The development, called 1 Riva Row, will include both a 13-story tower and four-story residential living, totaling 268 units. 1 Riva Row will have first penthouses offered in a multifamily community in The Woodlands along with ground-level two-story townhomes, and studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom designs.

“1 Riva Row will set the bar for luxury multifamily living in the community, becoming the most sought-after multifamily residences in the area with exceptional amenities and desirable positioning within the walkable urban hub of The Woodlands,” said Crystal Bledsoe, Vice President, Multifamily for Howard Hughes.

1 Riva Row will be located within walking distance of The Woodlands Town Center, The Woodlands Mall, Market Street, Waterway Square, Hughes Landing, and the community’s amphitheater, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Howard Hughes will complete the project in the fourth quarter of 2025. The Woodlands, a 28,500-acre award-winning master planned community located 27 miles north of downtown Houston.

Their profile of the project

Quote:
In response to the site the massing consists of two distinct elements; a 4 story component, more domestic in scale and a 14 story tower which addresses the prominent corner location. The entrance pavilion sits as a ‘jewel box’ between these two elements and forms a backdrop to the landscaped entrance plaza. Utilizing the change in level to the waterway the four story parking garage is concealed, creating a clear and active street edges whilst the roof provides an extensive pool deck with views of the city and beyond. A gradual gradation of brick colors across the building provides a playful façade which reflects the rich history of brick production in Texas.
