The suburbs are second-rate. Cookie-cutter houses, treeless yards, mediocre schools, and more crime than you think. Do your family a favor and move closer to the city.
Note: This is up dramatically from the previous quarter low of 82.2%, I'm projecting it be up to 87% by the end of summer.
Residential Units: 6,279 units
Under Construction: 1,317 units
Note: This includes The Brava (373 units), Trammell Crow (309 units), Sovereign (229 units), Fairfield (286 units), and Mckee City Living (120 units). A pretty significant lineup to look forward to.
Planned: 275 units
Note: don't know what this one is, but I assume it's a low ball considering the updates going around the forum.
Looks like everything should be going back to normal, I'm expecting foot traffic and in-office occupancy to be back to, or close to normal later this year.

I wonder if they would replace them with purely ornamental spires. Otherwise, it will substantially alter the aesthetic of the O’Quinn Medical Tower which was meant to like a pair of hypodermic needles
That would be awful. Such an iconic building and spires. My Dad always used it as a landmark when telling people how to get somewhere near the building ("just past the building with the needles on top").

Or St. Luke's Medical Tower as it was first known. I've decided building name changes are meant to reveal how long someone has been somewhere and how old they are. And when you can no longer keep up it means you're really old. I can't keep up any longer.

I know. That sucks. The first time I visited Houston, it was one of the buildings I was looking forward to seeing. It's also really cool looking at night all it up and the white beacons up there. It totally sucks that they'd do that.

My favorite view ever of it was in a Southwest Airlines jet flying over it at night. Got to see Transco, the Hypodermic Needles and Downtown all on the way to Hobby.

I worked in the TMC for years so I was up on all the changes going on around there and the people buildings were named after...
