AFAIK, no Chicago elected officials nor anyone from the planning department has even talked about the transitway since Rahm left. It hasn't been a priority for Lori and her people, and I'm not exactly holding my breath with the new admin.

Nice to hear about phase I and another 500 footer but what's the updated timeline for all phases? (Phase I was supposed to start last year so I assume they all got pushed back).

The tallest building is my favorite aesthetically, I like the glass curtain a lot.

I can't believe how quick this all is happening. In 5 years, this area is going to look so different.

Phase 1 got a design change, I honestly dig it. Looks like some of Onni's towers in Toronto

A little annoyed the phase one building got a minor height cut. But it's still a cool design! I wonder if the design will carry over to the the rest of the planned buildings. Fingers crossed they will be able to build the 700ft building.

Nothing puts the capital "K" in Klassy like a superfluous "e".

I suspect the base may have some retail components, or in more suitable vernacular, shoppes.

A 7 foot height cut is so minimal it's not even noticeable, plus it's still 150+ meters.

Why wouldn't they build the 700+ footer?

Yeah, not really a fan, kinda reminds me of the failed XO condos from the 00's, in the south loop maybe? I kinda dug the earlier version more.
