CALGARY | West Village Towers | 150 M | 41 FLOORS x2

As per the info provided by Chadillac. The Arcitect is Yahya Jan (NORR Dubai). A DP has been submitted and the developer is ready to start construction, starting with the tallest tower first.

Love it Wouldn't really mind if just the first and third tallest got built though. A nice variation in height and position.

I think when it's all said and done the shorter tower will probably fall by wayside and just maybe the two remaining would get some extra floors/height! I like the buildings, but 3 of the same is a little much.... I'd say 165 meters and 140 meters would be really awesome!

Wonder how much longer for these. I thought they were going ahead on spec?

They aren't the best but are still better than 90% of what we are getting here these days. As with anything it comes down to materials.

I think the DP is still in for this one, maybe someone can check the status. I'd expect site work by late summer at the earliest. Also I thought they were rentals, so no sales are required to start construction.

These aren't too bad at all. I think two towers with a little added height would be better than three of the same!!

These towers are amazing! This is one of the best proposals I've seen in the west for a while. (Telus Sky and Sky City Centre being 1st and 2nd.)

The renderings don't make these buildings out to be that tall. I was looking at the proposed heights, and the tallest would be taller than the Guardian Towers, which really surprised me. It would be a huge boost for the west side and the tallest would soar over what is already there.

^ Yes! And that area could use some height! Still would like to see the shorter tower eliminated and add some floors/height to the remaining two!

Tallbob - this thread is still only one page long, and you have replied to it three times, and each time said the same thing! Kill the shorter tower and add height to the other two!

I admire your persistence! And ultimately I have to agree with you. Just found that a bit funny.

The DP has also passed through Planning...who knows, maybe we will see a start to this one.
