Also, I can't wait until this intersection is cleared of construction debris and blockages, its been so many years...
Cool thats good, wait till they light up the sky with their lights.

Funny enough the W is in line with the other 4 tall buildings, so the Philly drawings they do with the 4 tallest buildings will have to be updated, for one to include the new Comcast tower & 2 add the W tower.

So are those reflective strips on the front of the building going to light up at night? The one rendering in the first post makes it look like they will. Can't believe how long this building has taken to open.

Was the height listed here ever confirmed? Based on the surrounding buildings, I always suspect that it might be over 600ft.

Granted, CBP is marginally closer to the W but it looks as tall as IBX, which is believe is 625ft.

Skyscrapercenter has it at 614', as does Wikipedia.

Height correction

Welp, looks like we'll correct the height on this before the building is officially finished and we close the thread. I see majority of sources online claiming this is 51 FLOORS and 617 FEET tall. We'll correct this thread to show that height correction.

Yes, they are still planned to light up. They will have colors too, I've seen, captured and recorded the lights being tested last year.

Here's the rendering I did showing how the lights will look when done

And here's the testing from last year

Thanks TK. The W symbol is lit up tonight for the first time. I was surprised to see it is green.

I don't want to go off topic, but the Cambria looks like it was plucked straight from 1975.

Yeah, oh well. So much better than the butt-fugly garage that used to be there though... especially at street level. Do you remember that awful thing???
