If I'm the "Tom" you're referring to, then yes - kinda - it was more of a blog-like update as all the new wave of proposals came in. . . after SSP/SSC/skyscrapers.com came into maturity I stopped doing anything with it. . . I think I still have the original files archived somewhere, but they're all kinda weak compared to today's renderings and whatnot. . .

If I'm not. . . then please feel free to disregard

I really like this one, but I was also rooting for one of the two mass timber proposals. Oh well, maybe someday.

Plymouth rooftop bar will still be around, you can see it in some of the renderings. Only the vacant lot and parking garage will be developed

Can't say I'm mad about this. It would be cool to ride on, but would mess up the crown and facade of one of the best skyscrapers we have. Hoping this is a step towards the plan fizzling out.
I respectfully disagree with you here. For the relatively small changes at the crown/top two floors of the facade, we're getting a gorgeous view down on the city from arguably the best location in the city. I've never understood people's aversion to making what is overall a fairly small change to the exterior of AON, plus I'll admit the exterior glass elevator will be one hell of a ride!

Because part of the beauty of Aon is its symmetry and that elevator is gonna mess it all up.

^^ Wasnt this the site of a supposed 900ft plus proposal?... The loop core defiently deservers better than this squat building!...I dont understand why in the core of the loop where basically there is no pushback on height so many developers are going to short and squat... I mean block 37 is a perfect example.

Removing a third of the stone exterior columns at the top and adding that elevator absolutely massacres the original design concept.

Yea this aint it , I don’t think it won’t even make it far , this is disrespectful to the loop and the city. The Thompson center is being redeveloped to possibly a super tall , put something here that’s gonna peak out from canyon 700-1000 ft

Conservatory tower yes, this site has been controlled by jokes of developers in the past so it was never really real.

For certain - it's an absolute butchering. Here's to hoping this is actually pretty dead already and the owners either aren't admitting it to themselves quite yet or aren't prepared to admit in public yet.
