I've been fascinated with NYC's water tanks since I was a kid. I took this photo from the roof of the Washington Square Hotel in 1991 (when I was, alas, no longer a kid).

Nice pics. I opened the thread and was met with a pic of downtown Houston in which I did not recognize a single tower (well, okay, I noticed one in the back). Nice to see all the new glass that has gone up in recent times!
