Yes, now I recognize the square, and part of Brunswick Place. I have been to SJ NB 5 times, but not since 2013 (wife's cousin's wedding)

Not controversial to me at all. Spring is bleak until things turn green.

Having said that, Montreal still looks good, no matter the season.

Some picture from April around Vancouver, most years one of my favourite months in the City:

Nice, csbvan!

This used to be a classic Vancouver Chinese corner store when I lived on this block as a kid. Back then just about every neighbourhood in the city had at least two of them. Lots of great memories:

Very cool, thanks for the background! I have always wondered about that unit (clearly it used to be commercial). It's too bad that we don't have enough of those markets within the neighbourhoods now, and they're mostly just on the high streets.

Thankfully the City has made it easier to open up neighbourhood corner stores again, and I hope to see them take off (although I expect they will be more niche products/cafes a la the one's that still exist):

I went to the top of Highrock Park in Esquimalt (Municipality of Victoria) tonight. Such a beautiful sunset. I got a few photos of the city and thought I'd post them tonight.

Love all the pink and green in csbvan's pics, beautiful. And greatscaper - wow!! Love that vantage point and all the Victoria density, which is continually being added to as can be seen by the cranes in your shot. And that last pic captures the length of the skyline better than ever. Great job!

Thankyou csbvan . I miss the early spring Cherry Blossoms from the years I lived there.

Thanks so much Zoomer. I really appreciate your kind compliment. I also always enjoy our times getting together and taking photos. It's a lot of work considering the time taken walking around the city taking photos, then uploading them, sorting and editing them and uploading them to Flickr and posting them... but it's a fun hobby and there always seems to be new things to photograph every time I take photos of the city. A fun hobby really.
