3.5 options:
(1) Do nothing, at all;
(1A) Twin a bit of either;
(2) 17 all the way, no 11;
(3) 11 all the way, no 17;
(4) both 11 and 17
(1)’s the most likely, followed by (1A), though if I’m to unpack it, twinning a little bit of 17 is much more likely. (2) is based on (1A) being 17 not 11.
Next time you ask me, I should just copy and paste this.
There’s a reason why nothing’s planned for 11 beyond North Bay but 54 km for 17 around Sudbury.

I am thinking it will be much the same as building the original highways.

I am actually surprised they are proposing 50 km this time.

They do about 20km every 5 years. If we agree that they won't do anything on 17 till the 400 is finished to Sudbury. then that is at least 20 years from now before they start. Lets round the total distance not done on 17 to 2000km. Then, at 20km every 5 years, that would be....500 years.......(can someone check my math as that seems rather low.)

I fully expect within about 50 years SSM east to be all 4 lanes or more. It is where most of the population and most of the AADT is.
