A work buddy of mine (I'll call him TallerBob) shot this from his balcony (21st floor I think). I thought it was pretty cool. I'm trying to convince him to join this forum because I think very soon he'll have some real panty wetting material.

Sorry I'm not a talented photographer like you guys, but here's a video I threw together of the new sculpture on 12th Ave. The music is turned up so that you can hear it over the wind. Hold you phone over the sensor and play a music video where the sound goes with the beat. I tried a few songs, but this was the most suiting I've found so far:

So who wants to rent some amps and party under the Chinook Arc?

Wow that's awesome, so the sensors adjust to movement and sound? Oh nm, looks to be movement only. Really cool though

Cool, but too bad the guy holding the phone doesn't get the full effect of a the light show. A little phone holder would be cool, but I could see how that could lead to folks leaving their phones behind.

Amazing shots as always Jimby! You should post those in the "Calgary Through the Seasons" thread in the global section!

The video doesn't really do it justice. It looks a lot cooler when you right inside the donut.
