The HBJ site shows the office tower, but the Chron shows nothing more than a low-rise. Start of a previously-announced project.

The Office Tower is cut off from the rendering as it is way in the back. They only show the Data Center.

Here's some positive development on leasing activity.

Energy Crossing II:

Atwood Oceanics Inc. (NYSE: ATW) said Monday it has moved into its new corporate headquarters in Energy Crossing II.

Dallas-based Lincoln Property Co. developed Energy Crossing II at 15011 Katy Freeway. The eight-story building was topped out, meaning the last beam was placed at the top, in June.

The building, at I-10 and State Highway 6, was designed by Dallas-based HKS Architects and built by Houston-based Manhattan Construction Co.

Houston-based offshore driller Atwood Oceanics occupies 89,000 square feet of the 340,000-square-foot building. Gensler designed the company’s space, and Houston-based Trademark Construction provided construction services for the interiors.

Does anyone have the details on the work being done for the Hermann Park Centennial? This is over by the Museum of Natural Science, and there's more work along Fannin Street.

I thought the info was posted on the houston development thread several months ago and before the general development thread was spun off.

Dow Chemical is planning a new R & D center in the Freeport area; with lab and office space for 2,000 employees, this sounds like a failry substantial campus. No renders yet.

I believe this has been in the works for a while, but now it's confirmed. A 125,000 sf museum space is planned.
