Great shot!! Looks like we got some much-needed snow in the mountains. Glad we can see the Fig + Pico crane already. Will be great to watch it go up. And from that angle, the Brookfield Tower won't block 777 Figueroa, so we'll have that really nice contrast between white and black facade colors. Now we just need some of the taller South Park towers planned around Olive to start going up.

I guess you can’t...but I would’ve thought you could see The Grand.

From this view, Disney Hall and The Grand are basically behind Wilshire Grand Tower and BofA Plaza.

What a gorgeous shot of our beautiful city. A great location to revisit to see how the skyline is growing overtime.

LA's skyline is really hard to come to grips with, it's easy to underestimate when one is used to denser, and more radial skylines like the Canadian ones or Seattle/Philly. IMO we're about 10-15 well-placed skyscrapers away from it being quite remarkable, that's around 6 years away.

It really is. Most skylines are the size of century city alone.

Is it topped out yet? Or how close is it to being so?

It's close to topping out, but there is also a small crown, so it has a tiny bit left to go, but not much. From that angle, looks to be roughly in line with Union Bank Plaza or even 444 Flower (which is substantially taller, but sits lower in base elevation) from a skyline impact perspective, which isn't inconsequential, especially being so far north.

Yeah, the tallest tower is about on par with Millenium project on impact, this one does pull the skyline NEast and tapers it a bit too, so does a bit more 'work' in that regard. I actually hope more towers were designed like The Grand, very cool and hopefully sets the tone for future taller towers in DTLA.
