I guess my memory from driving down there last fall failed me. Other than Place Jules-Dallaire, there not much there in terms of skyline.
I guess I was impressed by how urban Laurier felt... for a stroad. Very nice, for a stroad. Mixed-use, I remember at least one grocery store at the base of a residential mi-rise. Parking lots are not as offensive as in Ottawa. The mall seemed to have a nice design that interacted well with the street, but checking StreetView now, that's all on the second floor, not the ground floor.
Yeah, so really "nice" stroad. Not much of a skyline. Hope the tramway comes with cycling facilities.
