Great collection of the amazing variety of places in Greater LA! Great to see the vitality of historic downtown LA. I can’t wait to pay another visit.
What is the story on the McCarthy Building?

The Huntington Library and accompanying gardens may be the single most underrated attraction in the LA area. They are simply spectacular... world class. Should be a can't miss item on any trip to LA. Thanks for all the photos! Looks like a Laguna pic snuck into your South Bay set

Yes indeed I visited many times and I never get tired of it. The last time I went was just before the pandemic. Also a summer concert of Latin Music on the grounds of the LA County Museum of Art. It’s one of the most enjoyable experience of free concerts anywhere. You can even bring your own picnic basket and wine. One thing for sure LA does not lack in cultural activities, and a lot can be enjoyed for free.

Pwright: great work as usual, your photos threads are always first class.

pwright, your photo threads are always good.

one thing about the climate is that, as with ppl, plants & trees become damaged when they're exposed to temperatures that are either too hot or too cold. I used to not understand that & took the weather for granted.

however, LA is vulnerable to droughts, so the Mediterranean type aridity can be also a mixed blessing. But when I see photos of coastal locations on the east coast, where trees & shrubbery are different...sparser...due to cold winters, it does affect the friendliness of the way a place looks.

LA should make laws to forbid topless dudes fooling around...they bring eyesores.
