Well, that was fast...going from saying that it needed a master plan to selecting an architect...next is an RFP...

New renders for Brandywine's office and hotel development in Radnor (foreground), next to Penn's new outpatient center (background). Looks like they've gotten final approvals and are marketing the property now. Fairly generic, but always love to see TOD.

Ever since I moved to the Phoenix, Wilmington development news has been awfully sleepy in this thread... it used to drown out the other cities in the metro but now it appears to be so quiet, and there is A LOT going on that I've been hearing from family and friends back home.

Anyways, I did some snooping on BPG's website for you guys as came across these 3 new developments. Looks like there's some decent infill coming soon.

CROSBY HILL - 517 N SHIPLEY STREET

THE COOPER - 212 N MARKET STREET

EL DIABLO - 837 MARKET STREET

El Diablo also coming soon, not sure if this was mentioned on previous pages.

There's also a pop up holiday bar called Blitzen opening(end) on MKT, serving spiked eggnog and other holiday favorites:

This is from BPG's website under Portfolio > filter by property type (Under Development is easiest) and Delaware

The 517 N Shipley project was mentioned as a future apt building earlier this year.

I haven't seen any movement on the LOMA, Cooper building since BPG demolished those buildings over a year ago.

I'll try to take a look around Downtown later this week to see if there is any movement.

One thing I did see with my own eyes was Incyte's expansion - third building has started over on Augustine Cut Off.

Also, Capano's Bancroft Falls luxury apt building on the beautiful Brandywine has ramped up the last few months.

Easily the ugliest building built in the Philly area in the last two decades.

Yeah, that thing is terrible. At least it looks halfway decent at night with the lighting scheme? IDK, trying to find some positives... but holy shit.

Saw this the other day outside of the old Sears site along Market Street just across the city line in Millbourne. Sears has been gone since the early 90s and the building was demolished about 20 years ago.

The area abuts the Millbourne MFL station and is within walking distance of the 63rd Street MFL station as well. Here is the area for reference - the undeveloped tract just north of The El:

In doing some research I came across this proposed mixed use development for the site. A ton of surface parking but you could hit the site with a well thrown football from either of two rapid transit stations!

Parking lots can always be built on in the future! This isn't exactly a hot real estate market in this neighborhood. It's still TOD.
