Not sure how they could suddenly "VE" this beauty after not "VEing" to this point. But we'll see, I guess.

On a separate note, that unfinished side wall is a tad lame. I get that it overlooks the neighbors roof and is unnecessary to glaze I suppose, but I think more could have been done to dress it up...somehow.

Was thinking the same exact thing yesterday as I walked past. Sticks out like a sore thumb from Roosevelt.

^^^ Probably a fire code thing. Not much could have been done to change it I'm guessing.

I love how much 1000M is in conversation with 1130 S. Michigan from this angle, with the glass and spandrel panel spacing feeling remarkably congruent. Can't wait to see the glass show up on the curved floors!

Really looking forward to how it'll fill the sky from this angle when finished.

The panels in between the glass to not look curved to me.

This thing looks like it's coming up on 40 stories. I think it's definitely halfway up (or a little more) from a floor count perspective now.

This is cool.

I'm hoping this will end up looking like a nice curvy sculpture on top of a chiseled, angular pedestal, when completed.
