Update...

Definitely bluer than the renderings, but still great to see this moving toward completion.

Love this tower! I think it really compliments the Society Hill Towers:

3 new Philadelphia apartment buildings reach construction milestones

Quote:
Three Philadelphia apartment buildings recently reached development milestones.

An 18-story mixed-use building off Broad Street, a 31-story residential building in Society Hill, and a 12-story building in Northern Liberties have topped out, meaning the structures of the buildings are fully in place as construction continues.

1 Dock St.

LCOR, a development company with offices throughout the Northeast, topped off its building at 1 Dock St., near the southwest corner of Walnut and South Front streets, I-95 and the Delaware River.

The Ryland is planned to have 267 residential units and 31 stories with completion scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023, according to LCOR.

The building will have 44 studios, 154 one-bedroom and 44 two-bedroom apartments. Plans also call for 20 two-bedroom and five three-bedroom penthouses. Once completed, the building will feature a fitness center, outdoor pool, roof deck, multiple resident lounges and on-site parking.

The Ryland is LCOR’s fifth Pennsylvania development following The Birch in Conshohocken, Arlo in Malvern, 1919 Market St. and 419 Bainbridge St. in Philadelphia.

I'm curious how close are we to topping off this project. I drove over the Walt Whitman Bridge and the building was lit up at night due to construction and this building is extremely prominent on the eastern skyline which is amazing.

It is topped out. The concrete forms for the core are gone and the structure has stopped rising
