That is a significantly more interesting looking base than I remember this thing having. I thought I had clicked on the wrong forum and was looking at something being built in NYC!

Also, that baby crane is funny. Not much of a view for the operator yet.

True, but Urbannizer's photo captured that unusual street side concrete arch that the abysmal webcam can't see!

Thanks Urbannizer for the great photo.

Good point. I had no idea the ground floor was so elaborate.

Same. What a beautiful ground floor exterior. The arch is such a nice touch.

I kinda feel like the Austin-Boston theme is about to spread over to all of our threads.

I don't know why, but the arch bothers me on this project. I love love love arches too! It doesn't go with the rest of the tower for me and just....I don't get it for this one. Ugh, sorry, I feel like I've just been shitting on this and a few others lately. Not on purpose!

I'm also anti-arch on this one. Not anti-arch in general . . . just for this project. It's weird so far.

This whole project feels weird to me. One of our tallest buildings, but almost completely unremarkable. Nearly exactly square, too much parking, with the only distinguishing features seeming tacked on at the end of design (the arch, the offset panels on the east facade). It's a bit of a mess.

welp, you and We vs pretty much sum it up for me. It's as if the architect started off with a curvy deco inspired tower, then accidentally added another project to the plans. I just don't get why this has a memphis-like arch when the rest of the tower is clearly minimalist / nondescript.

Those fun little touches can be helpful with certain projects, but this one just hurts my eyes and feels lazy.
