the glass appears to be going up on the hotel at 11th and Wabash. From a distance, it looks green and nice.

To me, it's the equivalent of if developers put shag carpeting on the exterior of buildings in the 1970s. It's trendy now, but will be universally hated shortly.

This is exactly why I'm sort of meh about 1 S Halsted. I really wanted to like that building but i think the glass pattern looks a bit trite.

Those shots are really nice, show off the glass really well. I'm not in love with the tower, but it's a big ass office building replacing a Walgreens. Thank you very much, I'll take more of that
