Nice photos - Sepia is cool - I love that refinery/downtown mix shot baseline/101ave gives...

I have plans for photos for a contest in that area... though I dont know if I will have time to get them done...Theres some pretty good vantage points in the area.

Love the pics!
I also like pictures taken from that angle, because you get a very accurate perspective of the building heights.

Huh .. are you sure that's "sepia" ... I thought it was smog

Were the first pics taken from somewhere near the Clover Bar dump?

i think the landfill is much farther north than where those pics were taken.

Actually, believe it or not, the first shot was actually taken from Sherwood Park. It's about a 12x optical... The rest were taken along Baseline Road.

Yes, I like the Sepia setting for certain shots.

I believe its an office addition at Imperial Oil Refinery's admin. buildings. Nothing major.

I don't know, its not always as nice as it is in the pictures

Landscape of out my back yard:
Foreground: vacant Lot
Mid Ground: Rundle park/North Sask. River
Background: Refineries.

The refineries can destroy the eloquence in that scene, especially when the flares are spouting out black smoke

Really Nice pictures though
