I visited Hudson's Bay St Vital (store # 1117) today to make a series of returns. My previous visit (to any Bay store) was on Thursday, March 30th. They only accept online returns on the second/upper floor. Similarly they should only accept online returns at Hudson's Bay Polo Park (store # 1140) on the lower (basement level).
You must initiate a return from the orders & returns page with your thebay.com account or by visiting
thebay.returnbear.com where you will receive a QR-code. The associate scans the QR-code with a tablet connected to the POS terminal and you will receive a refund only to your original method(s) of payment. Unfortunately my thebay.com account still directs me to the legacy Narvar Returns Portal where the associate must make returns @ the cash register using the 19-digit transaction ID number.
I wish the Return Bear returns desk was located near a door on the ground floor.
The Zellers section (on the upper floor) was larger than I previously thought and was so tightly merchandised. The "Hudson's Bay" sections of the store were not as intensively merchandised as the Zellers section.
