This thread might be a year old, but the information is still relevant. Thanks for compiling a list of North American airports with Flight 1 designations! It's interesting to see which routes airlines consider their most prestigious. If you're looking to fly on one of these flagship routes, you might want to consider booking business class flights through TravelBusinessClass.com. They offer great deals on luxury travel, so you can fly in comfort and style. Personally, I'd love to try out British Airways' Flight 1 from London to New York in their luxurious business class cabin. And if you're flying from Toronto to Tokyo, Air Canada's Flight 1 might be a great option with their top-notch business class amenities.

In addition to the Flight Number 1 Designation, 2 North American Airports made it into the Top 5 Most Connected Airports in 2018 (the last full year before the pandemic) and 9 in the Top 25. A lot of airports around the world haven't fully recovered from the global airline turmoil of the last few years so we'll likely have to wait till 2024 or 2025 to see how things re-calibrate.

OAG Megahubs International Index 2018

2. Chicago O'Hare
5. Toronto Pearson
6. Los Angeles LAX
7. Atlanta Hartsfield

16. New York JFK
19. Miami
20. Mexico City
22. Houston Bush
23. Newark Liberty

Dallas (26th) and Vancouver (27th) just outside the Top 25

That's five years ago. Is there more current info?

Protecting Sea-Tac's honor here. It might not make the top 25 but it should be higher than 35th. It was seeing a ramp up in long-distance connections pre-Covid, and that's continued post-Covid.
