I hope so. I'd love to see both 900 and 745 Randolph climb at the same time.

Great, just tall enough (150.88 m) to be a true skyscraper!

Dare I say this one may already be under construction now? There was a flurry of activity on site the other day......

Someone with a better judgement should check out the site to see if this thing has cross the SSP "status" for construction.

Very cool that this is about to (or maybe even already has) start construction.

By my count, it'll be only the 4th tower over 300' tall to start construction since the pandemic began roughly 18 months ago, the other 3 being Salesforce, 300 NMA, and 345 N Union.

I saw that the other Related site for the Equinox hotel/apartment tower is undergoing some demolition too. I wonder if that might start construction in a few months or very early 2022.

^ That would be sweet if both towers were u/c and had cranes up at the same time.

Sweet to see the official status change!!!

One of the highlights of my summer! Watching a 40-story tower break ground in the West Loop in addition to seeing One Chicago top off and finish cladding just before I leave.

900 W Randolph refers to the entire master planned development which covers the whole block, including preservation of the buildings along Randolph and Sangamon.

This is just for the tower portion which faces Peoria, and will probably have a Peoria address when all is said and done unless CDOT and the Fire Dept allow a vanity address on Randolph. I doubt they will, because the existing building at 900 W Randolph (Lena Brava) would just confuse first responders answering a 911 call.

I just hope that they stick to good materials so that this turns out as good as the renderings

The buildings on Randolph are staying and it's obvious from the rendering, which shows the tower portion on the side street. As mentioned, I'll bet a lot of money on the address changing when this opens.
