Should have solid proposals at the very least with a rendering. Permits come and go.

I agree with you, but he wanted it there, trying to be accommodating.

Would be great if someone could mark all these buildings on a Google map. Maybe color code the pins to mark various states - in construction, permitted, planned, proposed, etc.

If someone wants to take the time to produce a linkable map with these projects on it and include me as an editor I'll be happy to post it and keep it updated, I'm just not feeling like taking on the task of the initial set up.

That would be a cool project. I myself am in the process of updating Wikipedia for Phoenix skyscrapers. That thing is nearly 3 years out of date.

I took a shot at this.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XV...mC&usp=sharing

I'm happy to tweak if people have suggestions. I just did yellow for proposed, green for under construction. And I only included the projects in the rundown thread, and copied biggus' descriptions to the map descriptions.

Biggus if you want to PM me an e-mail address I'll add you as an editor.

Good work going the extra mile!

There's only a minor discrepancy, the Churchill will be on the NE corner of Garfield and 1st st.

Very cool! Thanks!

We should put this at the top of the thread.

Ronnie aren't you a Phoenix transplant? Your enthusiasm cracks me up, but it's fantastic. I wish more locals had your level of passion.

What crane should we expect to see rise next (besides 2nd crane at Block 23)? My preference would be Barrister surprising us...

Im guessing the Marriot at AZ center, Derby is still on hold and according to the press AC Marriott is supposed to start construction this spring.

Or the Central Park east Residences which submitted some site approvals the other day.

Derby isn't looking likely at all at this point.

Did the developer decide to drop the case or something?

Good question. I say Central Park East Residences. Then AZ Center Hotel.

The crane is up for The Link at Third Street and Pierce. It's got a bright "UEB" on the sides at night.

Haha, yea. I'm from Ohio. But I love towers, so I do as much as I can
